The showdown between the small actor and the big stage...or maybe,  it is the reverse, the big actor and the small stage. In any case, a funny story about life, theatre life and life outside of the theatre. The theatre is a grand hall, and at the end of it, lies a stage...At night, when all in town is closed and peaceful, you come to the theatre. You see a reflection of yourself on stage, you laugh and you cry. ...and I enter your soul, like an empty house...What you see on stage reminds you of your own dreams, I guess that’s why you come to the theatre no? The theatre is a grand hall, and at the end of it, lies a stage, and on that stage is an actor.

A WORD FROM THE SELECTOR

Irfan Mensur: ACTOR, SAY SOMETHING FUNNY
This play is an account of the showdown between the small actor and the big stage and vice versa, the big actor and the small stage. A good selection of poetry is what sets this play apart, it illustrates the different emotional states of the actor, which brings him closer to the audience into a whirlwind of sadness, humour, sublime feelings – dreams filled with emotions.
