DECISION OF THE EXPERT JURY

The Expert Jury gave the Maja Dimitrijević Gold Award for Best Monodrama to Nebojša Milovanović. Nebojša Milovanović is an actor of extraordinary individuality who reached the pinnacle of artistic skill in the genre he chose, both in his performance, and in his communication with the audience. His choice of poetry and interpretation is especially intriguing because of the conflicting elements he joined together. Aside from the confessional tone and elevated style of reciting, Nebojša Milovanović attained a high level of social engagement as well.
The expert jury awarded the Ljuba Moljac - Miodrag Andrić Award for Best Young Actor to Milena Živanović. In her portrayal of the life of Edith Piaf, Milena Živanović showed extreme emotion, self-transformation and added her unique interpretation. Her rendition of the musical scores was masterful. She was straightforward, persuassive, faithful to the original and powerful as Edith Piaf, with the help of clever and effective directing.
Conforming to the rules of the Festival, the Expert Jury awarded the Gold Medal Award for Best Mime to Zip iT, performed by Ana Stanišić and Ljilja Fredrikson. The mimes managed to portray their story in a humorous way, cleverly combining mime techniques, imagination and playfulness. The Jury recommended that based on their skill and talent they develop the material they have and enrich their act. The Jury also stated that the offer of mime was scarce and that they would like to see more next year.

DECISION OF THE INGENUITY JURY

The Jury for Ingenuity unanimously declared Nebojša Milovanović’s independent solo project STAND DOWN for the Ingenuity Award. In an innovative, quick-witted and humorous way, Nebojša Milovanović made poetry accessible to the masses, and made for an almost sublime experience that enriches the soul. Striking and energetic, through his personal and sincere stories, he combines poetry, music and painting, artfully playing with different genres. His harmonious and well-incorporated techniques, resulted in a unique experience.

As members of the audience, the jurors closely monitored the reactions of the viewers to all the plays and unanimously awarded the Audience Award to Milena Živanović for the play Edith Piaf.
