About the play
The play ‘The fatal lies of Sol Sarfati’ is a story about the willingness to sacrifice in order to turn a life’s dream into a reality – becoming a famous singer. Sol Sarfati paves her own way towards fame, travelling from one gig to another, grabbing with both hands at every opportunity to make contacts which will secure her a better position, the money to pay her videos and the freedom to express herself and become part of the estrada. Traveling between gigs, Sol stops to introduce herself to us in all her glory, a woman in a land of her own, somewhere between dreams and reality.
